Life Skills

So with these difficult times upon us and everyone just trying to muddle through as best they can, I thought it might be helpful to provide some activities and ideas that will focus on your child's well-being. Checking in with your child on how they are feeling and talking to them about any feelings, worries and concerns that they might be having at the moment will be extremely important- and every child will be different. Doing activities that are relaxing and take their mind of any worries that they have can only be a good thing. I have also included some brain break activities to include in between their learning- parents might need these too!

Hope they help! I'll put some more ideas on next week..... Stay safe and well and look after each other, Miss Smith (Life Skills Leader).

HeartSmart

As you may know, our school follows the HeartSmart School scheme which aims to resource chidlren with a toolkit for resilience, well-being and healthy relationships. Boris the Robot is the scheme's mascot, and he encourages us to explore different themes, such as 'let the love in' and 'too much selfie isn't healthy'! During the school closure period, Boris the Robot is posting a daily video on YouTube. Click here to find his daily videos.
